BIO: Phill is a Forsyth County native, married to Wanda Lynn (Burruss) Bettis, with three children, Emily, Barry, and Spenser. Phill is a graduate of the Emory University School of Law, Mercer University (Atlanta) and Forsyth County High School. He serves as Chairperson of the Benjamin F. Brady Charitable Foundation, and as a Trustee of the Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry Foundation. He also serves on the Georgia Baptist Convention Executive Committee, is a deacon at Longstreet Baptist Church, a Board of Visitors member at Shorter University and formerly as the Chairperson of the State Bar of Georgia Professionalism Committee and Liaison with the Chief Justice's Committee on Professionalism. Phill was named an Atlanta Magazine "Super Lawyer" in 2005, 2009, and 2010. Phill enjoys writing and public speaking.
