Take Me To Post Comment Form As many of you have or have not read in recent posts, I am the Chairman for the 9th District of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Youth Essay and Patriotic Education Teacher Award Programs.
And per the rules of our organization's programs, I need to have a judging panel to evaluate the entries submitted to the District from all of the Posts of the 9th District, but the rules also state that we need to have a panel of individuals outside of the VFW (Community, Corporate, Religious Leaders and other Veterans/Military members).

I am asking members of the community to see if they would be willing to spend Saturday November 22 at the Cumming VFW Post on Dahlonega Highway judging the entries for the three programs. If you would be willing to join me with this judging panel, please email me at vfw@mcmahon-ga.net, and I will get you information about the judging.

All volunteers helping out will be recognized by the District at an upcoming District Meting, along with the winners of the competitions.
