Why the lack of coverage re: GA Senate Seat #27

Why do I not see any information regarding the Georgia Senate District 27 campaigns in the local news? The GA 27th District Senate Seat is comprised completely of most of Forsyth County, and there is a race pitting Michael Williams against old Jack Murphy. With the primary only 9 weeks away, I think it would be prudent for the citizens of Forsyth County to be informed of the candidates, their positions on topics of interest to Forsyth County, their pros and Cons of their campaign. Or has Jack Murphy already got the Forsyth News on his side and doing all he can to keep Michael Williams' name out of the public's knowledge!

I will be watching for unbiased, objective coverage of any and all election related news!

There have been articles about all the candidates. Mostly, though, about Jack Murphy. It seems an oxymoron to expect any political article to be unbiased--especially in this PC age of the media. Candidate rendered press releases are not going to get attention from an editor. They (the PR releases) are naturally biased. Articles i see contain substance about a candidate's views on a controversial subject or about a meeting where a candidate has gone to educate and inform about an upcoming bill to be voted on. It is my view a candidate should visit local organizations throughout the year, not just at voting time.

Articles primarily about Jack Murphy is NOT unbiased coverage. Before the runoff FCN printed zero information about who was running and for which offices. Just state the facts -- no one is asking for candidates' self-promotion. FCN has an obligation to cover statewide politics if that election will have ANY impact on FC residents.
