WAKE UP FORSYTH COUNTY!

Neither Lee Hawkins or Tom Graves will give one rats behind about any one of us, once voted into office, as they will be Representatives of their Party, and not Representatives of us the constituency!

The United States House of Representatives is supposed to be the People's House and not the Republican or Democrat's House. Both Party's are inherently and irrevocably corrupt, and only looks out for one thing, their Party Power, instead of the people they represent. This is the exact reason President Washington, in his farewell address warned our then new nation against the creation of political parties.

The time has come to cast a vote of "No Confidence" in our (un-)Republican form of Government (Government with representation for the people) The United States rebelled against King George and England because of intolerable acts against the citizens of the American Colonies, one of which was taxation with a lack of Representation, under the rule of England. Now some 234 years after we declared with one united Voice that we refuse to be ruled without the people being represented, we are in the exact same situation. This time not only are we not being represented, but we are also not being defended from invasion, two Rights that are supposed to protected by the Constitution, but the Party Mentality Government does not care as it is not in their interest.

We need to elect Representatives who will represent their citizens first, the State of Georgia second, and the Constitution of the United States at all times. If we don't, our nation will cease to exist IN OUR LIFETIME, and a situation worse than the War for Southern Independence will occur and be irreparable.

You may think I am being an alarmist, but the writing is on the walls and our nation is being divided in multiple ways (Racially & ideologically). Look at the invasion of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, California and even here in Georgia! Look at the Socialism that has been and is being being forced upon us! Look at our Homeland Security, with the Times Square Bomber, our Constitutional Rights as American Citizens being ripped away from us, and what is left is being given equally to non citizens who have chosen to do us harm!

WAKE UP FORSYTH COUNTY! Stop looking for and only recognizing the term Republican or Democrat when going to vote, instead look at the moral and ethical American values and beliefs of a candidate. As far as I am concerned both the Republican and Democratic Party's deserve to be in Hell with the rest of the immoral and unethical trash of the Earth.

The RepubliCrats

The Differences between the 2 Major Parties:

The Republicans:
They are Pro-Second Amendment but Anti-4th Amendment.
They talk smaller government but practice Big-Government.
They are Career Politicians who must be Loyal to their Party in order to keep their political careers.

The Democrats:
They are Anti-2nd Amendment but Pro-4th Amendment..
They talk Big-Government as if Socialism is the answer.
(It is far more likely that 50 Individual States will problem solve better than one Bureaucratic Big-Government!)
They are Career Politicians who must be Loyal to their Party in order to keep their political careers.

So basically, both parties are Anti-Constitution, Pro Big-Government (therefore Anti-States Rights), loyalists to their parties above the Constitution & therefore Felons! They both also sell us out to the highest bidder since they are both bought & paid for by special interests!

Some believe that the Constitution should be violated in order to legislate morality so they elect officials who profess the same views.

Violating the Constitution is wrong & doing wrong things will bring you bad things in the end. Example, you may not only be destroying your rights but the rights of you children by undermining the Constitution. It is the Constitution that protects our rights to do things like worship freely for example. So you are cutting off the hand that feeds you.

Why don't you consider running for government? Best way to solve a problem is to put yourself in a position to change it. Anti-government rants just make you look as ignorant as the folks you claim are destroying our country. Don't be a part of the problem. Be a part of the solution.

That is in my plans for the future, but I have other issues, that I need to take care of before I can start having fun.

The Two corrupt political parties have run so much interference in this state that it is nearly impossible to do anything without their blessings, take ballot access for instance, go and research the laws that the two parties have placed to prevent anyone other than them to be on the general election ballots! And then what about ballot initiative? The two parties thinks that we the common people don't know anything and should have no say in anything, as they are the only ones who knows anything and should be the only ones whose thoughts count. The United States is not a Republican based Democracy any more, instead it is now nothing more than an oligarchy. The select few who rule over the masses, instead of working for the masses. People have been blinded by the bipartisan philosophy to the point where our nation is at serious risk of complete political, social, moral and financial failure.

I just want the intelligent people of Forsyth County (which is at least 99% of the Legal Citizens), to forget about being a Republican or a Democrat, forget their indoctrinated bipartisan philosophies, and be an independent thinker, who will use their heads for something more than a hat rack and expand their philosophies to think for themselves and not as a brainless part of a collective. Our founding Fathers, if they were still alive, would be completely appalled with what America has turned into, as this is not the nation they envisioned back in 1776 or even in 1863. They envisioned a Nation of the people, by the people and for the people; and not of the Political Parties, for political power, by the Political Elites. It is time for the Citizens to raise our voices and take back control of our nation from the Partisans, who are destroying it and in the process trampling The Constitution that is supposed to be the supreme law of the land. My love for this nation is only third behind my love for God and for my family, and would still to this day defend it and what it stands for with my life as I would for God and my family.

Pro Deo Et Patria! (For God and Country!)

I guess someone can not complain about the government unless they are willing to run for political office? Are we not putting ourselves in a position to change it by voicing our objections to it?

Hello,

Could you please elaborate on the 'trampling of the Constitution'? If you could provide specific instances of how the Constitution is being destroyed I would appreciate it.

Poorrichard, can you tell me how Mr. McMahon was invoking change by stating "As far as I am concerned both the Republican and Democratic Party's deserve to be in Hell with the rest of the immoral and unethical trash of the Earth." The point I was trying to make is that comments like that don't serve to solve or change anything. I agree with much of Mr. McMahon's comments but I think you compromise your point by making comments that prove to have little substance.

But hey that's my opinion....

I'd say you pretty much hit it out of the park with this article.

I don't recall you citing that specific passage in your original posting. However, that statement clearly states its intent. If I were a Republican or Democrat, it would make me question my salvation or at least my ethical standing or morality.
