Take Me To Post Comment Form The Historical Society will host a Heritage Book kickoff at our August meeting. The meeting will be at 7pm in our headquarters at the Historic Cumming School on Tuesday August 3, 2010. We have been meeting with Don Mills from the Walsworth Publishing Company for several months and are now ready to pass all of this exciting news to our members.

We will have our brochures ready and they are filled with ideas and instruction for writing your family’s history. We will also be able to show you all the resources available here at headquarters and next door at the Bell Research Center. Several of the surrounding counties have already published a county Heritage book. We are extremely excited to start this project.

It has been twenty fiver years since any family histories have been printed for this area and an enormous amount of history has taken place during this time. Do not miss this opportunity to be among the first to submit your story!
