VFW Conduct's Annual Youth Essay Competitions
The Forsyth County Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. Post # 9143 is conducting its annual Youth Essay Competitions, "The Voice of Democracy" and "The Patriot's Pen".

The VFW launched the National Citizenship Education Teacher Award in 1999 to recognize classroom teachers for promoting citizenship education with their students.
