There was another strong victory for the Great Strides Cross Country team this weekend! This meet was a little smaller than our last one - about 200 girls and 250 boys. Lakeside Lady 8th Grade hoops team wins Dunfest


The Lakeside Lady 8th Grade Lions used a team effort to win the 8th grade girls Dunkfest tournament. The Dunkfest took place December 19th-21st at Dobbs Creek. Lakeside won the championship game 24-18 and brought home the trophy.

The Lions players participating were Lindsay Francingues, Logan Cheeley, Sarah Stiers, Grace King, Anna McCarthy, Gina Fishler, Molly Bergin, Carolyn “Jojo” Clark, Lauren Kelly, and Natalie Moran. The team was led by Coach Clark. ...

West Forsyth Youth Lacrosse


I would like to thank the parents and girls of the West Forsyth U-13 Lady Wolverines. Spring 2014 was an excellent season for the girls U-13 Lacrosse program going undefeated 9-0 for the season.

Sawnee Cumming Optimist Golf Tournament


Spring is here and it's time to play GOLF!!

Our annual golf tournament which benefits Children's Healthcare will be held Monday, April 28 at the Windermere Golf club. Entry fee includes cart, green fees and lunch and will be a 4 person scramble. Shotgun start is 9:30 AM with raffle and awards to follow.
