Description: The Acting Troupe of Lambert (ATL) presents Little Women: The Musical October 4, 5, and 6 at the Lambert High School Theater. Based on Music Theatre International’s 2005 Broadway adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s 1869 classic novel, the production was written by Allan Knee with music by Jason Howland and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein. The show will feature a live orchestra and is directed by Charles Hyatt with Ryan Wason as Musical Director and Lisa Sherouse-Riley as Community Director. The musical takes place in Concord, Massachusetts during the Civil War and focuses on the lives and loves of the four March sisters – aspiring writer Jo, romantic Meg, pretentious Amy, and kind-hearted Beth – along with their beloved matriarch Marmee and a host of supporting characters. This musical has entertainment value for the whole family to enjoy.
