NAMI Family Support Groups are open to all family members or caregivers of adults, children or adolescents who are living with mental illness, regardless of diagnosis.
Our group offers much needed emotional support where one can speak openly and honestly without fear of rejection or being judged. Whatever challenges you are facing, you are likely to find someone in our support groups who has "been there" and can share their experience.
Please feel to drop by and share your feelings, difficulties, or successes. Everyone is a valued participant. In addition, NAMI FDL offers a
Connections Support Group
Too often, mental illness is an isolating experience, accompanied by profound anxiety.
For those diagnosed with a mental illness such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other conditions, talking with someone to share coping strategies and insights, as well as problems and concerns, can be an important link in the path to recovery.
NAMI Connection is a recovery support group program for people living with mental illness. These groups provide a place that offers respect, understanding, encouragement, and hope.
